Clinical Evaluations

You’ve lost your driver’s license?

In the state of Georgia, there are many ways a person could lose their driving privileges. One way is to get a DUI. A DUI is an arrest for driving under the influence.

A DUI covers many different things: alcohol, marijuana, prescription pills.

Once the arrest has happened, and the shock has worn off, there are a series of steps to get your license back. One step is a Clinical Evaluation.

Clinical Evaluations are required by the State of Georgia after a DUI or drug charges. A Clinical Evaluation is required if there have been two or more DUI arrests in five years. Or a Clinical Evaluation can be required if warranted by the State or by the court system.

I am recognized by the State of Georgia and am on the list of State-approved providers for giving Clinical Evaluations.

The Clinical Evaluation takes about 45 minutes to an hour. It is to determine if additional treatment is necessary.
